On mine the odometer is broken so I change my oil when the colour starts to turn dark, about every 3 months when it is on the road. or approx 5000KM.

The timing belt is recommended every 100K, cool thing is the engine is a non-interference design, I heard of one guy on here that carries a spare timing belt with him just incase it breaks.

What Oil are you running? I am thinking of trying Shell Rotella T6 5w40 when I do my first change this spring. I previously ran Pennzoil High Mileage 10W30.

100,ooo Km for timing belt is recommended. However with mt 1996 Carry at 30,000 KM I swapped my out, Jan 2016. It looked ok but you could definitely see it's age. for $125 I'm happy I did it. as for oil, I'm Canadian and it hates 10w30, up here most of the months are too cold for that oil. personally I think 5w30 from -20 C to 10 C. If you happen to run 100% synthetic 5w30 then it's good for the whole year.

I should add that is just my opinion. But I have like 20 vehicles and see how each one runs best.
