So I've had my Honda acty 660cc fuel injected mini up and running for a few days now. The seems to run great. Runs and drives in all gears, but going up fairly steep inclines in first gear the truck runs out of power and actually stops. I must rev the engine to go further or turn around. I was hoping to fit this truck with a plow so running out of power is not good! Any suggestions?

Are you sure you had enough fuel in the tank so the pickup was not exposed to air? Usually there is plenty of power to do what is needed within reason.

Half Tank of fuel and no I didn't notice any smoke at all. My engine is fuel injected so I'm not sure if those solenoids you speak of exist on my truck. I wish I had a tach on the truck. It starts off go at the approach of the hill, then slowly loses power until it won't go anymore. It's like you're trying to go up the hill in 2nd or third gear with out enough speed and need to down shift to keep her going.....but I'm in first, there is no downshifting!!

Maybe you add a signature where we can see the car details like I have. I have a 1997 Honda Acty HA3 truck, Frame: V-HA3, Engine E07A, There were three versions of fuel supply systems for this motor: Carburetor (PGM-CARB), fuel injection (PGM-FI) and MTREC (Multi Throttle Responsive Engine Control).
Check the pics and the video in the link I posted above to compare what you have. Also here is some info http://minitrucktalk.com/threads/1994-or-97-model.15106/

I had a similar issue recently. The hose leading up to the charcoal canister had broken down and fell off. I'm not sure if this caused it though as the truck broke down today for a different reason
