Hi all, New member here from Newfoundland, Canada. I have been looking for a mini truck for a while now and one damaged one is being sold a few hundred kilometers away from where I live. But I don't know what it is worth and what it will cost to repair. The current owner ran it into a large rock 2 years ago and it has been sitting ever since. Two pictures are below. The front is in very rough shape. the windshield is shattered, the rad is cracked and there is now a fair amount of rust on the front. The headlights are still ok, just removed. If anyone has any input on the value of this truck or the repair cost, keeping in mind that I can do all the repairs, then please share.
Maybe as a parts car you could buy it, in case you find another one with same model year. Repair will be too much. You need at least a new radiator, maybe some aircon components, a new windshield, lights, a new bumper, provided nothing is bent on the front axle.
I agree with you, I went to look at it yesterday and she wasn't completely open and honest in her ad or our conversations about the truck. All of the interior is gutted and put in the pan of the truck for a few years, so the seats are ruined along with the gauge cluster which was left below the smashed in windshield with corrosion all over the contacts. The big rust spot on the bottom is actually ate through in a few spots and they cut the floor out of it on the drivers side for some reason and had it tacked back in place. The lowest price is $800 so there is no way I am paying that for it. Maybe if she drastically lowers the price I will get it for parts and keep my eye out for another 92 Acty.
