Just bought a 1994 hijet, been looking at these for a couple of years and just took the plunge. Truck is in good shape but I shave everal questions, if anyone can help me I'd be very grateful. The truck has stock rims and needs tires, I think I'd like to put on slightly oversize for better traction in the yard. Most of my driving will be on paved or gravel road but I need to be able to drive off road a small amount. I'm looking at 23" tires, 7" wide mounted on ATV rims. If I add a 2" lift will I need to modify the Door or wheel well? Any insight would be great. Thanks.
I don't have one yet, so I cant actually answer your questions (although a lot of people on here have issues with their lifts, they mostly boil down to CV joint issues rather than body clearance). But I was wondering where you got your truck?
