Hi. I am new to this forum and new to owning a mini cab. I recently bought a 92 Mitsubishi 4x4 that was not starting. After new Battery, fuel pump, tune up kit and air filter it now runs good but blows heavy blue smoke. I am currently running restore in my oil. Any ideas what it could be?

Blue smoke indicates worn valves, valve seals or rings. A compression test on each cylinder will give you the heads up. There are plenty of You Tube video's on doing compression test.

Jack up truck place in 4x4 and turn front wheels by hand, clicking most likely a front inner or outer cv joint thats bad. Rubber boot may or may not be tore. If any are tore its most likely that cv jt.. Grab each cv jt. and if it has slop thats your problem.

Okay thanks. I will do that. I hope to get it all straightened out. Its fun to drive and I plan to tag it and drive to work occasionally.
