Searching again for a front bumper

Well, I thought I found the bumper/brushgaurd for me. After a lot of waiting, a lot of frustration, and an uncertain feeling about the whole transaction.....I decided to cancel the front bumper /brushgaurd that I had on order.

So, now I am looking for one again. It seems these parts are hard to find....aftermarket custom stuff that is.

I would like to purchase one, but I can also make one (have a welder but it would not look as good if i do it!). I am looking for any suggestions of retailers that sell them, or looking for any pictures of bumpers that I may get good ideas from to build my own....if you have built one yourself.

Also, I need to have a 2" receiver in my bumper, to attach my winch to.

So.....let's see those front bumpers/brushgaurds!! Post some pics or post some links!! Show me what you have on your mini.

    Thanks...Akbillybow

Thanks ttc!! I really like the skid plate / receiver he made!! If I make my own, I may have to copy that idea. I could actually make it like he did, them later on cut 2 square holes in my grill/fake bumper to add on a bumper and brush guard combo to the frame and that plate. Hmmmm....you got me thinking now!!

    Thanks for the link !!

Try "Mitchtrucks.com" . I ordered and received a nice rear bumper a while back.

I just finished my front bumper Today . I have to say it turned out excellent. I will load pictures tomorrow after the paint has dried and everything is put together. All in cost was about $15. time was 22 hrs. And yes a person could easily attach a front receiver. You guys are going to like this one
