I got a set of long nose clamp pliers from Harbor freight that has 3 sizes, one for vac. lines, one for fuel lines, and one for heater hose size lines. They were about $12 and really worth the money. They look like needle nose with a ring on the end,

I have a long needle nose pliers, can just barely touch this hose, looks like the intake may have to come off to get to it,but there is hardly any room to get to it even.

well broke down and started on the thing, dropped the rear tranny crossbrace a little to gain some room removed the breather cover, alternater and ac compressor which didnt work anyway, left the carb on the manifold and started removing intake manifold bolts, got it loose pretty easy,I will say I marked all the lines with different color nail polish to help me remember where every thing went.this little 4 inch 3/8 water line was compleatly up under the manifold with no access except turn it upside down to get to,just need a new line and a mainifold gasket and I should be good to go.
